Emmenegger, age 102, of Western Springs; beloved wife of the late Edward; loving mother of Edward (Rita), Susan (the late Florian) Biskup, John (Nina), Edith, Joseph, Mary (Scott) Schoeller, & the late Robert; proud grandmother of Caroline, David, Jonathan (Martha), the late Alison, Michael (Mandy), Thomas, Annie, Elizabeth, Benjamin, Heidi, Robyn (Peter) Becker & David (Jennifer) Schlieben; great-grandmother of Evan, the late Amanda, Nathan, Matthew, Lucy, Allyson, Emily, & Molly; dear aunt & friend of many. So sorry to hear of Barbara’s passing. She had a long life and was blessed with a wonderful family. Edie is the only one of you I really know and I send love and hugs to you. Wow, to make it to 102 and to be as sharp as she was.

We first were introduced to Barbara when Mary babysat for our three children. I kept up with the family when I would run in to your Mom at various places in La Grange. She was always the same – so kind and gracious. It was always a delight to see her. Our sympathy to all of you.
