Phyllis J. Phillips (nee Bellantino), age 78, of Hodgkins. Beloved wife of the late William Phillips. Loving mother of Tressa (Eric) Rice and Santo (Jaime) Phillips. Devoted grandmother of Eric Jr. and Brianna Rice & Eric and Kyle Phillips. Dear sister of Patricia (Joe) Pontrelli. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents Santo and Edith Bellantino. Fond aunt and friend of many.

Visitation 3 to 6pm Friday, January 8th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. A limit of 10 guests in chapel at a time. Masks required and social distancing guidelines will be in place. Service will be held privately. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association.     I worked with your mom at Gottlieb. She was a wonderful person. When we talked she always talked about you both and the grand kids. We would talk about her famous cream puffs , and about the family cook book she made for each of you. She was very special and I will always remember her beautiful genuine smile and friendship.   2. February 8, 2025 Phillips and I graduated from Sacred Heart/St. Anne High School June 10, 1960 and fell in love with James Dean since 1957 before I moved to Florida in 1972. I am Marie Bartoszek/Samuel. Correct name is Phyllis. We talked on the phone forever. James was born February 8,1931. Wish we could talk again.
