Nancy Hamilton
Nancy Jean Hamilton, of LaGrange Park, IL, passed away on January 12, 2021. Nancy was born on February 9, 1930 in Chicago, IL. She graduated from South Shore High School. Nancy attended Beloit College, WI and graduated from Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School in Chicago. She had the opportunity to work at WGN with Jack Brickhouse. Nancy went on to further her career with many years in the insurance business. Nancy married to Fred Hamilton for over 40 years. Golf was a favorite hobby for both Nancy and Fred as they were active members of LaGrange Country Club. Nancy loved to entertain, have parties, and travel. Nancy was an avid bridge player and played weekly up until just a few years ago. Nancy enjoyed spending time with parents, Lillie Lou and Stanley Smith and Brother and sister-in -law, Bill and Susan Smith. Nancy is survived by her three nieces: Cynthia Strohm (Sherwood), Nancy Odell (Michael), Christine Kalivas (Nicholas) and 7 great nieces and nephews. Graveside service private. I’ve known Nancy for for many years through LaGrange CC.
She always had a smile and was warm and generous. I can hear her voice now. A sweet lady who seemed to enjoy life.

I met Nancy at Hinsdale Community House where we gathered to play bridge every Tuesday and Thursday…she was excellent
Player. I enjoyed hearing the stories She shared as she fondly spoke of her family and husband Fred. She was a strong yet gentle woman.
