  1. We loved having Bob as a neighbor the last 3 years. Cheerful man who lived each day fully. He loved water aerobics, mostly for the socialization.

    1. I worked with Bob for Six years in the earliest days of Hi-Cone Division of ITW. We worked out of Conex in Des
Plaines then moved to Itasca and Bob became Hi-Cone President. We enjoyed many memories of business
successes including special events and outings.
Bob exuded class in everything he did. He set the highest bar with his managerial skills. In my 23 years of work with
other well managed companies, I never met another Bob Rettig. Heaven is getting one of the very best. RIP.
My condolences to the family for their loss.

  2. I knew Bob at La Grange CC, where he was an active member and even served as president. He was admired by all. The world has lost a true gentleman.

  3. My deepest condolences to the Rettigs. Thanks Uncle Bob for your Christmas letters and your connection and concern for our family over the years.
