Le Master, Sandra Lee

Born August 6, 1945, to 1^st Lt. Robert J. (USAAR) and Anne Kostuba of Berwyn, IL .

She attended local La Grange schools and Northern Illinois University where she met her future husband.  Sandi was a “stay-at-home” mom when the children arrived.  After many years as a Girl Scout volunteer, she was employed at various Girl Scout council offices as a Membership Coordinator and  Volunteer Trainer.  Her five-year retirement found her cooking up old Czech recipes and backyard gardening.

Sandi is survived by her husband Thomas R. of 54 years of marriage and children Catherine A. (Newton, MA), Stephen H. (Minneapolis, MN), Elizabeth L. (Downers Grove, IL), Jennifer L. (Buffalo Grove, IL) Le Master and Loving Grandmother of Robert John Le Master.  Sister of Francine (Kenneth) Vasko (Crystal Falls, MI), and brothers-in-law Michael B. (Holly, MI) and Scott A. (deceased-2021) Le Master.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert J. and Anne Kostuba.    

Sandi passed into God’s kingdom at home March 2, 2021, surrounded by loving family after a short illness (non-Covid-19).

Private Interment at Fairmount Cemetery, Willow Springs, IL and officiated by Pastor Erin Clausen of Christ Lutheran Church of Clarendon Hills, IL.
