I worked with Jim at Best Travel/Direct Travel. When I had to go to the Elk Grove office to work, he was the guy who would always help me out and was never too busy to answer my questions.
When Ava was born you never saw a happier grandfather, he couldn’t wait to show me pictures of her.
He will truly be missed but know that he touched so many lives in a positive way and that should make you all proud.
We are so saddened but also so thankful to have had a friend like Jim. He was a friendly face and a warm hug you could always count on and there was always a good time to be had with him around. Bruce enjoyed the poker nights that Jim would invite him to and how he would always invite us to go on trips with them and their friends. You are all in our thoughts and prayers and hope that all the wonderful memories you shared will give you strength and peace during this very difficult time.
Nancy, this is Linda Klosak Smith. Hoping you remember us from high school. Pete and I are so sorry to hear of your husband’s passing We will keep him and your family in our prayers.
I have thought of you and your family often through the years and our trips to White Pines.
Sincerely, LINDA

To the entire Jasinski family we are there for you at this difficult time. Having sat on the City council with Jim for the last 13 years has been an honor. Jim was more than just a fellow council member. Not only did he have a passion for the City. He took such an interest in everyone he met. He was the most genuine person you could meet. At City meetings he would always share pictures of his granddaughter Ava and light up when talking about her. Her was a true family man and always there for everyone. I’m so glad for the times at the race track with Jim and Nancy watching Garrett race and bon fires in the yard during the summer. He will be so missed at City events and especially the concerts in the park. Jim touched so many peoples lives in so many ways. I’m truly grateful for all the great memories.
Our heartfelt condolences and prayers for the whole Jasinski family. Jim was the greatest. He will be remembered for all his help making Countryside what it is today. I will always think of him at every concert in the park. I think he had more fun than the kids. God bless during this difficult time..
Jim was a true too heart person. I enjoyed spending time with the concerts in the park after city Council meetings and just as a friend in general. I loved having his New Orleans stories and wish I could’ve taken him up on one of the invites that he’s offered many times. If I know Jim he’s sitting up there listening to some music having some red breast and stirring a bowl of gumbo soup. We will forever miss you buddy. To the entire Jusinski family if you need anything please feel free to reach out

I met Jim at the concerts in the park and took an instant liking to him. Ive always said, you very very rarely meet a nice man like jim, and I felt very fortunate to have met him. I hope he is in heaven where he belongs and I hope to see him there someday. I feel sorry for his wife and children for losing him and I pray they will reunite in paradise someday.
We were so saddened to hear about Jim. His was a good man. We consider ourselves lucky to have known him and the family.
