Elaine K. Graunke, age 95, of Downers Grove. Beloved wife of the late Delbert for 74 years. Loving mother of Scott (Sue), Rev. Terry (Barbara), Paulette Burdick, Kristy (late Robert) Lange, Dale (Gizelle) and Daniel (Diane). Devoted grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother of 17. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents John and Anna Maves and her brother Paul (late Shirley) Maves. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Tuesday April 20th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75th St., Downers Grove. COVID protocols will be followed. Services and interment private. I always thought of Elaine as a strong loving person much like her mother. She always had a little humor in her conversation. She was my remaining contact with the Maves side of the family. I will miss that.
