Beverly A. Burnett, age 78, of Downers Grove.  Preceded in death by parents Roger and Annie Clark.  Beloved Wife of John for 56 years.  Loving Mother of Kelly Burnett, Kimberly Burnett, Katrina Burnett, Kandy (Jerry) Taccki and Kolleen (John) Barnhardt.  Devoted Grandmother of Jessica and Tallin Panek, Madison, Emily, Shane and Chad Barnhardt.  Step-Grandmother of Kristin and Dale Barnhardt.  Dear Sister of Roger (Claire) Clark, Loren (Lou) Clark and Walter (Jan) Clark.  Fond Aunt and Friend to many.  Visitation 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday May 28 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75th St., Downers Grove.  Interment at Clarendon Hills Cemetery will be private.  Funeral info 630-964-6500

    1. My deepest sympathy to John and all their daughters and families. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother sister and sister-in-law. She will be missed by many.

  2. I am in shock, I just saw her a few weeks ago. She was always warm and had a big heart. I always told her that I was going to send her to “Rollers Anonymous ” for her addiction to the hair rollers she wore every night for years. I am really going to miss her. To her daughters: you had a wonderful
    Mother that loved you so much. I am so sorry for all of you .She was special.

  3. My thoughts go out to the entire family. I have such fond memories of Mrs. B’s warmth and generosity. She built a love-filled home and quite a legacy. Hugs to her family and friends.

    1. I am so sorry to of just heard about your loss. She was a wonderful, compassionate lady, I loved her dearly.
      Wish I had been able to say good bye.
      She will always be in my thoughts.
