Michael Patrick Ryva, age 30, entered the gates of heaven on June 2, 2021; beloved husband of Jacquelyn Hill; loving son of Rebecca & James Ryva; dear brother of Kathleen (Jason) Barczewski & Christopher Ryva; proud uncle of Trevor, Wesley, Calvin, & Curtis Barczewski; cherished grandson of Lois Reichert; dear nephew, cousin, & friend of many.
Mike was born on June 2, 1991. He attended St. Cletus Elementary School and graduated from Lyons Township High School. He went on to study at Loyola University Chicago where he graduated with honors. Most recently, Mike earned his Master’s degree from Northern Illinois University, again graduating with honors. He was a proud School Psychologist at Morton East High School, and had a blossoming career ahead of him. Mike had numerous interests including a passion for music, cooking, traveling, and his dog, Yogurt. Nothing could compare, however, to his love for hiking.
A private Funeral Mass and burial will take place with Michael’s family. Very sorry for this loss to the Ryva family. I remember as kids playing N64 and going on the Florida vacation with our families. You were a great guy and the world will miss you.
