Antoinette Swindall

Antoinette passed away in her home in the company of her husband and family May 18, 2021.

Antoinette was born July 2, 1930 to Tony Matrisciano and Annie Festa, in Middleboro, Mass.  She was the youngest of ten children and was a loving sister to her many siblings.  Raised in a traditional Italian, Catholic family, she lived her faith throughout her lifetime. A stay at home mother raising three boys while her husband served in the Navy, she still found the time to volunteer at countless charities.

She married the love of her life, Victor Swindall on January 5, 1953 in Nevada, Las Vegas at the Little Chapel of the West. They were inseparable throughout their lifetimes and enjoyed a devoted partnership. They are survived by their three sons, Victor Jr. (Carol), Anthony (Patty) and John (Karla Koskinen).

Her beautiful spirit will be missed by all who were privileged enough to know her.

A Memorial Mass will take place at 10 a.m. on  Tuesday, June 29. Family and friends will meet directly at  St. Cletus Church, 600 W. 55th St., LaGrange. Interment is private. Funeral information: (708) 352-6500

  1. RIP Aunt Toni and Uncle Vic. Will miss hearing your voices over the phone when we would talk. I will miss saying to you Aunt Toni, ” is this the woman who looks like my Mom” and then laugh. I am happy in the belief you both have reunited with family in God’s Kingdom. Love ya both.
