Tillie B. Jezuit, age 95, of Woodridge, admired and respected for her service to others over the years, passed away July 2, 2021.  Beloved wife of the late Eugene.  Loving mother of Leslie (Deborah) and Glenn (Janice).  Devoted grandmother of Kevin (Gina), Douglas (Christine), Lauren (Christopher) Vaculik, Jim (Samantha) and extended grandchildren Jason (Anela) Barbanell, Timothy (Tara) Monsen and Adam Barbanell.  Dear great-grandmother of Rose, Duke, Ryker, Klint, Kora, Abbey, Ivy, Michael and Mia.  Fond aunt to many.  She was the youngest of 10 children.  Tillie always relied on the encouragement provided to her by the Bible, with one of the great joys of her life being opening her home to a weekly Bible study for 30 years.  She was known as grandma to the neighborhood and spent great time and effort having a beautifully landscaped garden each year. Tillie had a saying on her wall that included the phrase “One is nearer to God in a garden than any place else on earth.”  Visitation 3-8 p.m. Wednesday July 7^th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75^th St., Downers Grove, where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday July 8^th.  Interment Evergreen Cemetery.  Funeral info 630-964-6500
