Audrey Rose (nee Hagle) Berg, age 90. Youngest daughter of the late Eleanor and the late William Hagle. Born in Chicago December 7, 1930. Devoted companion of Michael Minghi. Loving mother of Karen Berg Phillipp, William (the late Linda) Berg, Marilyn Berg (Robert) Carlstedt, and Glenn (Joan Tolios) Berg. Proud grandmother of Elizabeth Phillipp, Meghan (Devin) Phillipp-O’Connell, Kimberly (Ryan) Phillipp-Baird, Patrick Phillipp, Kevin Berg, Lauren Berg, Alex (Breanna) Carlstedt, Jamie Carlstedt, Katherine Berg, and Stephen Berg. Very proud great-grandmother to Ethan Baird and Leo Baird.

Sister to the late William Hagle, the late Thomas F. (the late Mary) Hagle, the late Richard (the late Geraldine) Hagle, the late Mary (the late Hubert E.) Hattory, the late Florence (the late Edward J.) Sutter, the late Patricia (the late Thomas) Walsh. Fond Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Audrey graduated from Alvernia High School, Chicago. She studied piano with the Catholic nuns for many years and was quite accomplished in her youth. Her favorite piece was “Claire de Lune,” by Claude DeBussy. She was employed as a bookkeeper for many decades and waitressed. She was an avid swimmer in her youth and played tennis until she was 78 years old. Her favorite hobbies, aside from tennis, were going to the movies, live theatre, and ballroom and swing dancing.
