Juliet “Julie” A. Vogel, age 89, of The Timbers of Shorewood, formerly of Darien.  Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Teacher and Foundation of her family.  Beloved wife of the late Richard A. for 50 years.  Loving mother of Richard E. (Elizabeth J.) Vogel.  Devoted grandmother of Allison J. Vogel.  Proud graduate of Titusville High School in Titusville, PA and Indiana State Teachers College of Pennsylvania.  After teaching for a short time in Erie, PA, Julie spent the majority of her career at Orchard Elementary School in Cleveland, OH and also taught at Congress Park School in Brookfield, IL.  Visitation 2-8 p.m. Monday August 9^th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75th Street, Downers Grove where funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday August 10^th.  Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Salvation Army or Lightways Hospice would be appreciated.  Funeral info 630-964-6500
