Dorothy A. Bartoli (nee Tickfer), 92, of Countryside. Beloved wife of the late Rowan A. Bartoli for a wonderful 42 years. Loving mother of Henry (Maria) Lafayette, Karen Teeling (nee Bartoli), Michael (Rosella) Bartoli, Leo (Moira) Bartoli, the late Lauren (Leonard) Jepsen (nee Bartoli), Sharon (Josif) Wagner (nee Bartoli), and Rowann Wieczorek (nee Bartoli). Devoted grandmother of 17. Dear great-grandmother of 35. Cherished great-great grandmother of 1. Sister of Rosemary (the late Leroy) Kruse (nee Tickfer) and the late Elizabeth (the late Richard) Hannigan (nee Tickfer). Fond aunt and friend of many. Dorothy was a voracious reader and loved to do crossword puzzles. She was a longtime bookkeeper and continued her profession at her homeowner’s association as treasurer. Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice or a library of choice. For further information, call the funeral home at 708-352-6500.
