Marta Maria Bednarik (nee Dudek), 63, of LaGrange, born in Poland. Beloved wife of Glenn F. Bednarik for a wonderful 23 years. Loving mother of Anna Dziura and the late Paul (Michelle) Dziura. Devoted grandmother of Alyssa, Lilly, Ava, and Christian. Dear sister of Dantua, Krystyna, and Anna. Cherished daughter-in-law of Vera (late Lloyd) McDonald. Fond sister-in-law of Carmen (Joe) Hoblock. Aunt of many. Marta was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Kazimiera Dudek.
Marta will be fondly remembered for her hard work ethic, her great cooking, and love of family. She was a friend to many and would always give a helping hand. She loved life, traveling, hockey, soccer, plays, music, and looking at the clouds. Marta was the perfect partner for Glenn. She will be dearly missed by all.
Visitation 3pm to 8pm Saturday, September 25th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside, where a Funeral Service will be held at 6:30pm. Interment private. Memorials in Marta’s name may be made to ASPCA at ASPCA.org or American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
