Josephine Petrella (nee DiZeo), age 89, died peacefully on September 24th, surrounded by her family. Born in Chicago, she married Jesse Petrella in 1952 and raised four children in River Forest before settling in Burr Ridge. A wonderful and loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by three siblings, four children, eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and their families. Josephine filled with big love every room, every holiday, every heart around her. Her ready laugh, her delicious cooking, and her generous soul will be missed and remembered forever.

Family and friends are invited to meet on Tuesday, September 28th at the cemetery gates of Bronswood Cemetery, 3805 Madison St., Oak Brook for a 10:30am graveside service, followed at noon by a luncheon celebration of Josephine’s life.
