Marcella May Schmidt (nee Evering) passed away peacefully on November 6, 2021. Devoted wife, sister, mother of 2, grandma of 7, great-grandma of 13. She was a woman of faith, church every Sunday. (Her vocals could be heard by Christ.)

Marcella was loving, kind hearted, friendly by nature, and always wearing a smile on her face. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, wanted to know what’s new, and if you had any photos to share.

She was a teacher, mentor, and volunteered sharing her many gifts:

Artist – Oil painting, papier mache (Cleopatra & Gumby), and Christmas ornaments

Baker – Grandkids’ birthday cakes, fundraisers, and Christmas cookies

Writer – Journal of family history, poetry, and her son’s grade school projects

Seamstress – Blankets, coats, dresses, Halloween costumes, and wedding dresses

Marcella believed in educating our youth and has donated her physical being to science. Please keep Marcella and her family in your prayers. Donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
