June Dorothy Brom, 92, of Plainfield, formerly of LaGrange Park. Beloved wife of the late Gerald, Sr. Loving mother of the late Diane (Theodore) Schimel and the late Gerald Brom, Jr. Treasured grandmother of Scott (Madeline) Kujat, Stacy (Charles) Kujat, Jason and Angie Brom. Devoted great-grandmother of 6 grandsons. Fond sister of Roy (late Joan) Jovien. Dear aunt of many. June was also cherished and loved by Donald (Nancy) Kujat. Visitation 9 to 11am Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301-75th Street, Downers Grove to Divine Savior Catholic Church, Downers Grove for Funeral Mass at 11:30am. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Andrew’s Catholic School, Romeoville appreciated. June was one of the sweetest and loving ladies I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. She treated my husband as her own son and accepted me into her family as her daughter in law and we called her Mom.
I will never forget the months she stayed with us and the love and warmth she brought.
She is now with the Lord and will forever be in our hearts. 💕
