Nancy Sue Droste, age 85, of LaGrange, IL. Beloved wife of the late Leo Droste; loving mother of Geri (late Kurt) Maki, Michael Droste, and Elizabeth (Jason) Droste Babb; dear grandmother of Kyle Maki and Nyssa (Kito) Ounkong; fond sister of the late TK Welch and Bill (Karleen) Welch; daughter of the late Myrtle and late Russell Welch; aunt and friend of many.Nancy had creative tendencies and did a lot of different woodworking projects and would sell her wares at craft shows. She had all the fun power tools either in the back porch or garage.
Visitation Monday, Dec. 27 from 5 to 9pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Family and friends to gather Tuesday, Dec. 28 at St. Francis Xavier Church, 124 N. Springs Ave., LaGrange for Mass of Christian Burial, 10am. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.

Don’t know if you remember us. We were on a trip abroad with Fr. Steve Peterson to Rome or Ireland. I can’t recall which it was. We do remember meeting so many nice people and you were one of them! May your Mom rest in peace!
