Margaret Mary Bonnema age 86, of Western Springs; beloved wife of the late Peter H. Bonnema, Jr.; loving mother of the late Mary Lou F. Bonnema, Joseph (Diane), Edward (Lisa), Carol (Charles) Wooding, William (Tammy), & Patricia (Frank) Balnius; cherished Grammy of Joseph (Tara), Laura, Emily (Robert), Ellyse, Elizabeth (Carl), Anne, Charles, Mary, Kimberly, Carolyn, Kathryn, & Julia; dear sister of the late Frances L. Qualizza; supportive aunt of many nieces & nephews.
Margaret was a proud employee of the Chicago Public Schools for over 25 years.
Visitation 4 to 8pm on Thursday, January 13 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Funeral prayers at 10:30am on Friday, January 14 from the funeral home to St. John of the Cross Church, Western Springs for 11 a.m. Mass. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Margaret’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org) are appreciated.

Aunt Marge was a beautiful, caring and most thoughtful woman . I remember when Jim died her calling me all the time and asking me if I was good. She always listen to me and got me through a tough time ! She was a remarkable woman and will be truly missed. I am so sorry for your loss. I will keep your family in my prayer.
