Lois Kolar, age 91, of Downers Grove, formerly LaGrange.  Beloved wife of the late James.  Loving mother of Edith Scholten, Deborah (James) Campagna and James (Ann) Kolar.  Devoted grandmother of Matthew (Chin) Scholten, James (Jessica) Kolar and Daniel (Martha) Kolar.  Adoring great-grandmother of Charlotte.  Dear sister of the late Edward (Lillian) Westphal and the late Dorothy (late Werner) Haak.  Lois was a lifetime avid reader and a longtime resident of Oak Trace, where she served as the first female council president and served on various committees.  Visitation 4-8 p.m. Monday June 20th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75^th St., Downers Grove, where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday June 21st.  Interment Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Downers Grove Public Library Foundation appreciated.  Funeral info 630-964-6500
