Norma A Lovett, nee Cernet of Brookfield IL, formerly from Countryside, IL passed away Friday July 29th, at the age of 87. Norma is survived by her sister, Lina G Folkerts; loving husband of 55 years, Anthony Lovett; loving son, Marc (Kim) Lovett, and daughter, Susan (Thomas) Rejdukowski; Devoted grandma to Kyle (Kristen) Lovett, Richard (Sommer) Lovett and Steven Rejdukowski. Devoted great grandma to Xavier. Dear aunt/great aunt to many. Preceded in death by her parents, Leonardo and Teresa Cernet and her sister, Dorothy G Zito.
Norma worked at La Grange Hospital for nearly 45 years in various office positions including insurance biller, secretary and medical records receptionist, retiring in 2014 at the age of 79 years old. She touched the hearts of everyone she came in contact with.
Norma always spoke her mind whether you wanted to hear it or not. She was a social butterfly that loved a good wedding where she could dance the night away. She was always looking for that next garage sale/Goodwill find. She was always ready for a board game or a game of cards, especially if a friendly wager was involved. She loved all that glittered and a great pair of shoes, especially if they were on sale. She would never turn down a summer day that would let her enjoy her family at the pool.
There is a “Manette” waiting for you in heaven. You are loved by many and will be dearly missed.
Visitation 3 to 9pm on Tuesday, August 2nd at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Wednesday, August 3rd at St. Cletus Church, 600 W. 55th St., LaGrange. Interment Private. Funeral info: 708-352-6500

Norma was always friendly and helpful while working at LaGrange Hospital. She will be missed greatly. May she Rest In Peace.
Norma and me have been BFF’s since 1970. Our freindship began when we worked together in the billing department at LaGrange Hospital. We raised our children together and were always there to support one another if a family crisis came up. My husband (since deceased) and me visited Norma and Tony in Countryside many times and Brookfield too. Norma is a once in a lifetime friend that will never pass my path again.
Rest well in the arms of God for eternity Norma; you’ve more then earned your angel wings. See you on the other side one day. Love you and miss you till we meet again.

My deepest condolences to Tony and Norma’s family. Norma and I met in 1956 when first started
working at Fisher Body (General Motors), we were just babies. Well needless to say we hit it off
almost immediately! Norma and I were very close up until the day I was married. I introduced
Norma to my wife and they also hit it off and it was like that all the years gone by.
We love you and miss you Norma.
Our love,
Carol and Joe Giampino
