William M. “Bill” Malloy

William M. “Bill” Malloy passed away on August 8, having lived a long and productive life.  Bill was a proud WWII Veteran who loved to laugh, tell a good story and sing. A member of the Barbershop Chorus throughout his life, you would often hear him singing a tune as you passed his room. “You Are My Sunshine” was one of his favorites. Bill and his late wife, Dorothy nee Robinson were the loving parents of the late Rev. William, Joan Price, Mary Ellen (Marty) Nuzik, Patricia Schaffer, and Doreen (Rick) Herman. Grandfather of 6 and great-grandfather of 5. He was preceded in death by Jean nee Jalowiec, whom he married after becoming a widower. Visitation Wednesday, Aug. 17 from 10am until time of Mass, 11am at St. Francis Xavier Church, 124 N. Spring Ave., LaGrange. Private interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
