June Gallagher (nee Goebbert), age 95, of LaGrange. Beloved wife of 54 years to the late Robert W. Gallagher; loving mother of the late James (Susan), Donna (Larry) Mayfield, Patricia (late John) Cheeseman, John R. and Andrew (Beth); cherished grandmother of 11; proud great-grandmother of 9; dear sister of the late Theodore (late Dorothy), late Robert (Ruth), late Marjorie (late John) Davidson, Geraldine (late Robert) Soenksen, Harold (Jill), late Henry (Corrine) and David (Kim); fond sister-in-law of the late Carson, John D. Gallagher and Carolyn Moss; aunt to many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews; preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, the late Kimberly.
Mrs. Gallagher was a proud homemaker. Member of Grace Lutheran Church of LaGrange for over 70 years. She will be remembered for her love of sewing, quilting, and gardening.
Visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 22nd at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Family and friends are invited to Grace Lutheran Church of LaGrange, 200 N. Catherine Ave., LaGrange Park on Tuesday, August 23rd for continued visitation from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Family and friends to meet at Randhill Park Cemetery, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights, immediately after the service, meeting directly at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Grace Lutheran Church or the VFW National Home for children would be appreciated.
