Louise E. Hime, of Burr Ridge, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2022 at the age of 100. She was born in Stavanger Norway in 1922 to Ole & Liva Egeland, and emigrated to the United States as a toddler. Louise grew up in Chicago with her brothers, the late Raymond and the late Norman. She graduated from Austin High School and worked at The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago for 10 years.

Louise married her loving husband Donald in 1949 and they soon moved to LaGrange where they raised their three daughters. She is surivived by her daughters Dr. Linda Hime (Dr. Tim Kabot) of Libertyville, IL, Donna Hime (Mark Townsend) of Moscow, ID, Karen Auer (Edward) of Indian Head Park, IL, granddaughters Alisa Schotzko (Dana Townsend) of Troy, ID, and Dr. Kendra Schotzko (Dr. Paul Chisholm) of Rapid City, SD, and great-grandsons Owen and Henry Townsend of Troy, ID.

Services will be private. Interment at Bronswood Cemetery, Oak Brook, IL

Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church of LaGrange, or the ASPCA.
