Eleanor M. Mensinga (nee Pesa), age 100, of Park Ridge. Beloved wife of the late Jacob. Sister of the the late Evelyn (the late Merle) Hall, Lorraine (the late John) Chynoweth, and the late Dorothy and the late John Trobl.

Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews. She loved them all.

Her favorite pastime was writing both before and after retirement.

She sang in her church choir and was an active member of the Park Ridge Sr. Center since 1983.

Visitation on Wednesday, February 1st at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside from 10am until time of service, 12pm. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery, Oakbrook Terrace. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Presbyterian Church of Park Ridge are greatly appreciated.
