Alice Gallagher (nee Fitch), age 63, of Western Springs. Beloved wife of John (Terry). Loving mother of John, Tom, Dan, Marilyn, and Joe. Daughter of James A. and the late Marilyn Fitch. Stepdaughter of the late Beth Fitch. Cherished sister of Jim (the late Nancy) Fitch and Ed (Marybeth) Fitch.

Visitation 1pm to 9pm with a service taking place at 7pm on Sunday, March 26th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Interment will take place privately. Funeral information: 708-352-6500

Alice was a treasure to the community well before she was elected to public office. Her wonderful smile and engaging conversation were an inspiration to all she met.
