I’m heartbroken for Ron, RJ, Leslie’s mom Maureen, and all the people in Leslie’s life. I have known Leslie since our days back at the Countryside Ballys and Burr Ridge Life Time. She has always been one of the most positive, uplifting, funny and kind people I’ve ever known. She loved making people happy, strong and healthy. She was a great friend, an amazing listener and a powerful motivator! She was all heart! She was truly one of a kind, and will be truly missed by many! 💔🙏😢
Leslie made a lasting impression on on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Leslie was truly a sweet & beautiful friend inside & out. Leslie was full of positivity, extreme kindness & strength. Leslie was an amazing instructor. So much love to Ron, RJ & immediate family. My heart breaks.
Leslie was a beautiful spirit always upbeat and full of fun, I met Leslie through my husband Joe who took her class for years at LA Fitness in countryside. Leslie would come to Joe’s shows and we enjoyed all the times gathering for lunch with Leslie and friends . We pray for her and her family during this difficult time.🙏🏻🙏🏽❤️🩹
Sending hugs and prayers to Ron, RJ, and Maureen – it’s so heartbreaking – she was an absolute ray of sunshine who greeted each day with a smile and infectious positive attitude- everyone loved her and her humor – so glad to know her for even a small part of our lives and call her my friend – rest in peace beautiful lady!!
I will always remember Leslie singing her way through classes. She enjoyed teaching and working out, yet always had time for a cocktail and lunch with a friend. I miss you dear friend 💕
Loving thoughts and prayers for Ron, RJ and Leslie’s extended family and close friends. She was always such a joyful spirit to be around. She was one of those people who affected the lives of everyone that she crossed paths with, and you never forgot her. I think every time I see something sparkle I will think of Leslie. My family will always cherish the blessings of being around Ron & Leslie! Now, MAY SHE REST ETERNALLY WITH THE ANGELS!
Such an incredible woman. Such a good friend. You will be missed.
Sending thoughts and prayers to Ron, RJ, Maureen, John and the family.
I am truly shocked and heartbroken to hear this news. Leslie was an amazing woman with the most hilarious sense of humor. I have spent many hours taking Leslie’s classes, she was so much fun in her crazy workout pants and just a very kind hearted soul. Crocodile Rock will forever remind me of you my friend – rest in peace Leslie. Sending deepest condolences to Leslie’s family.
Prayers and hugs to Maureen Ron and RJ. Leslie was such a beautiful person inside and out. Always made me laugh. She will be greatly missed.
My FABULOUS soul-sister has left the building. She was a loving, generous, kind, funny, beautiful, and did I say “FABULOUS” friend. My Dad loved her dearly and called her “Big Red.” She was a welcome addition to the Tipton family. Everyone who knew her loved her.
The photo Ron selected for this announcement captures her spirit. She texted it to me last fall, styling it at a garage sale with all the flair that she had. I will miss her and all our goofy yet FABULOUS exchanges. 💜💜💜
Sending all my love and prayers to Ron, RJ, Momma Greenwood, all the loving family members, and her endless list of friends. Love you, sista!!
Ron, so sorry for your loss. I would attend but am in Florida. Prayers to you and family.
My dear Aunt Leslie gone too soon. I will always remember Thanksgiving’s and Easter’s at her house, summer trips to Siesta Key, and everything in between. It’s hard to write a lifelong of memories, but they are all fond. My heart goes out to my Uncle Ron, cousin RJ, and Leslie’s mom Maureen (Mo). I will selfishly miss her homemade chocolate chip cookies and salads she had at every holiday. She enjoyed wine, and always would bring over a bedazzled glass ready for pouring! You will be missed dearly, RIP Aunt Leslie.
The world has lost a very special wife, mother, daughter, daughter in law and friend. Leslie was as beautiful on inside as she was on the outside. Her infectious laughter, the twinkle in her eyes and her witty charm are just a few of her traits that I will remember always. Leslie and I were lifelong friends and I am blessed to have known her. Knowing that she is with Jesus and reunited with her Dad brings me peace. Until we meet again I will keep her in my heart 💜
It is hard to put into words how amazing my Auntie Leslie was. She was one of the very few people that I could talk to about anything and know she wouldn’t judge me in any way. She has always been there for me, not only as my aunt but as my Godmother too. We shared many things in common, from our love for wine to reading books, working out, and so much more! She was one of the most welcoming and kind hearted people I have ever met and I feel blessed to have shared so many memories with her! I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that she is gone, too fast and too soon. I will miss seeing her smile, giving her hugs, laughing with her, secretly referring to ourselves as the “fun people” at all the holiday gatherings, her infamous chocolate chip cookies, the waldorf salad that she would make for the holidays b/c she knew I love it, and I will definitely miss all the sparkly things that she loved to wear! My thoughts and prayers go out to my uncle, cousin, her mom Maureen, and her brother John. Rest in peace auntie Leslie. ❤️

I had the good fortune of meeting and making friends with Leslie in grade school and reconnecting later in life. She was the very best kind of friend to have. It’s devastating she has been taken from us all too soon.
My fond memories of her will last a lifetime as I’m sure they will with all who knew her. My sincere condolences to the family and friends who will undoubtedly miss her immensely .

The Lynch family is heartbroken to hear of Leslie’s passing. What a special, sweet neighbor that we were blessed to know, even if for a short time. The Lynch kids loved her Halloween treats, homemade ice cream and sprinkles, as well as standing on the couch, bright and early each morning, to get the best view of Leslie and Roxy on their morning walk. Leslie was truly a beautiful soul and we will miss her.
So sorry for your loss. Leslie was such a fun and vibrant woman. She will greatly be missed.
Leslie was a very sweet and kind person. She was a staple at Chicago Health and Raquetball Club (and Bally’s) back in the day. She had a huge following as one of the most popular and most followed aerobic instructors at the club. She was so positive and her voice carried all over the club. A huge presence! And when her class was over, the club got noticeably quiet and emptied out a little because her student followers had left. I had even made it a point to take her class a couple of times and aerobics was not even my go-to exercise of choice. I’m grateful I got to talk to her, as I too worked at the club for many years. I’ll always look back fondly of her. What a loss. My condolences to her family and close friends.
I can only echo the heartbreak of so many. I took Leslie’s classes for years and was lucky enough to share time with her outside the club as well. Always smiling, always embracing, always kind. And so funny.
Sincerest condolences to her family. She loved you so much.

Ive known Leslie from our countryside Bally days as fitness instructors , over to Lifetime Fitness in Burr. I always tried to get her to be a trainer, she said nope:-). What a beautiful hearted person that has so much love and joy to give to everyone. She taught so many classes Dailey/weekly. Such a FiT and happy go lucky person all the time. I got to know her husband Ron at our time at Lifetime. Just great people that loved living a healthy fun lifestyle. Sorry for your loss, my heart and prayers goes out to all of you. She’ll be missed by many. RIP Leslie
What a shock to hear of Leslie’s passing. And I’m just learning of it almost a year later. I had to write something in her memory because she was quite memorable. She was a group fitness instructor at Lifetime and I took her classes regularly for many, many years. And I just loved her! She had such a good energy about her and always had a smile on her face. She was a force to be reckoned with! I’m so sad that her journey in life ended too soon. I miss you Leslie! My condolences to her family.
