  2. Dear Friends & Family of Jeanne,

Forty years after meeting Jeanne, my mom always asked the same question when I brought up my very good friend, Tom. She would proclaim, “Isn’t his mom the one that raised all those boys? That woman is a saint! You two were enough to drive me half insane and I could just never figure out how she could be so sweet and friendly to everyone.”

I knew Tom very well during high school. And, if his brothers were anything like him, I would have to whole heartedly agree with her. This is just one aspect of Jeanne’s life that I came to admire and respect through the years. She’s the only mom of any of my friends who continued to later show an interest in my life and concern for my welfare.

We have all missed Jeanne for a long time already. At this time, let’s all remind ourselves now of the wonderful boys and their families which, through the love of Jeanne and Ray, our Heavenly Father has eternally blessed us. I know I feel immensely blessed for having all of them in my life.

    Love,
    Jim Vokurka
