  1. One of the first people I met and worked with at the Center, A genuine nice guy! We developed some great training and had fun doing it thanks to Bill.

  2. Dear Marlene and family
Janine and myself would like to express our deepest condolences for the passing of Bill.
Bill was a wonderful man as well and a wonderful cousin to me. We had many interesting conversations about several subjects and enjoyed lots of laughter. I will miss Bill and his soft-spoken voice. Now that Bill is no longer in any pain or frustration that he went through in the last couple years with all of the different health issues he had to deal with. I would be remiss, if not mentioning Marlene, his wonderful wife, who stood by his side day in and day out, and was truly a wonderful wife as well as a wonderful caretaker. I thank you, Marlene. Well, Bill, I will see had gotten tired and his time hat, although I will miss him and I know Marlene and all the kids and family will as well. We know is it now in better place as far as not suffering or dealing with all the health issues. I hope remembering all the wonderful happy times you guys all share together will help get you through this difficult period in your lives again Mike & Sarah condolences with you Marlene, and all of your families on the passing of Bill.

  4. It has been such a privilege to know Bill Lane. In his career, which stretched from Western Electric to Bellcore to Telcordia and finally to TPI Trainers he gave his understanding and knowledge in abundance, even though he expressed his becoming a teacher of adult students as his lucky break. Working in a sales capacity I was witness to the interaction that always took place in his classrooms. He went beyond teaching, mentoring each student he taught as an individual, applying his teaching to their personal needs and learning styles.
We lost count of the number of students who attending his classes somewhere after 10,000 but I believe that number was more than doubled over time. Lives and careers were impacted so positively by his influence; he presented his teaching in such a way that the concepts were internalized to become part of each student’s future job quality and understanding.
Bill’s integrity and devotion set him apart. He will be missed.

  5. Laura,
It is clear your dad was a gem and a true gift to not only you and your family and all who knew him, but to everyone he came into contact with during his wonderful life. May God give you and your family strength and comfort in knowing he was a true gift to all and he had a life very well lived and obviously very much loved. Wish I could be there with you today. Hugs to you and your family.
May God give all of you strength.

    Karen
