Joanne I. Pape, age 78, of Willow Springs. Loving mother of Jim (Laura) Pape, Bob (Gayle) Pape, and the late Ken Pape. Devoted grandmother of Sophie, Scott, and Andrew. Fond aunt of many. Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, Julias and Ursula; and her siblings, Jean (late Herb) Hess, Jay (late Jackie) Dunbar, Al (Christine) Dunbar and Raymond (Glenn) Dunbar. Joanne will be fondly remembered by many, especially by Sara Pape and Marla Vick.

Joanne worked for many years at the University of Chicago Physicians Group and LaGrange Hospital. She will be remembered for her love of travel, the outdoors, animals, and her strong joy for life.

A memorial visitation will be held 4 to 8pm on Sunday, November 26^th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75^th St., Downers Grove. Family and friends are invited to meet on Monday, November 27^th at the cemetery office of Resurrection Cemetery, 7201 Archer Road, Justice for a cryptside service at 12pm noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hinsdale Humane Society.
