  2. My deepest condolences to the family. We’ve been family friends of Rob, Colette and Justin for 20 + years. I had many conversations with Colette and I know how much Joan was loved . Macular Degeneration is not for the faint of heart and I was in awe of the strength Joan had. She will be missed. My heart hurts for the family, hugs and prayers to you all.

    Love,

  3. Our deepest sympathy for the loss of your dear Mother. My dad, Thaddeus Szymanski introduced Joan and Bert., back in the day. A life long friendship remained over the years. As a youth I remember going to your parents’ home. Your mom was the best cook and most gracious aunt. We loved your folks so much, we called them Auntie Joan and Uncle Bert. They have reunited now. I know your loss is difficult. Sending our love and prayers to all during this tender time.
    Love,
    Joe, Cyndee, and Family
