JuliAnne Waryjas went to her heavenly home on February 11th, 2024 at the young age of 65. Born on April 8th, 1958, she loved animals from a very young age. She had several beloved pets throughout her years and spent her life in the company of furry and feathered companions.
In 1980, she met her current husband Steven Waryjas and they had their first date on Leap Day. From that time on, they enjoyed travelling throughout the United States and Canada as well as spending time at her family cabin in Crivitz, Wisconsin. While there, they spent time hiking, fishing, skiing, picking mushrooms, and more. They got married on October 7th, 1984 and after several years they embarked on the adventure of parenthood.
JuliAnne and Steven adopted two daughters before having a son of their own and enjoyed making family memories together. Whether she was travelling or supporting her children at sporting events, band concerts, and Scout Programs, JuliAnne enjoyed raising her children.
JuliAnne is survived by her loving husband, Steve, and her three children, Lauren, Brittany, and Matthew. Though her journey on this earth has come to an end, her spirit lives on in the memories of those who knew and loved her.
Her visitation will be held from 3:00 – 9:00PM on Sunday February 18th at Hallowell & James at 1025 W 55th St, Countryside, IL 60525. Her Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00AM on Monday February 19th at St. Cletus Catholic Church (600 W. 55th St. La Grange, IL 60525).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Pacific Marine Mammal Center (https://apps.pacificmmc.org/open-fundraisers?PFR=145) or Girl Scouts of the USA (https://www.girlscouts.org/) to honor JuliAnne’s love of California, marine life, and youth programs.
