Martin A. Southard, age 82, of Estero, Florida, passed away March 17, 2024.  Loving brother of Sr. Mary Southard, C.S.J., the late Barbara (late Bill) Brien, the late Paul (late Mary Anne) Southard and the late George Southard.  Devoted uncle to 7 nieces and nephews.  Martin served for many years as a bus driver for Pace in Chicago and the suburbs.  He was a friendly driver who welcomed his passengers, was considerate and concerned that they were safely seated and even played music back in the day.  He was an avid bowler and then a golfer with plenty or trophies. He drove a commuter bus at a resort when he moved to Florida. Martin will also be remembered as a music lover and collector of recorded music, classical, vocal groups, men and women soloists, and music of many genre.  Funeral Mass 9:30 a.m. Thursday April 4^th at Alexine Chapel, 1515 W.
