Joan Pintozzi
Joan Pintozzi, age 91, of Indian Head Park, passed away at her home on March 28, 2024. Beloved partner of the late Charles O’Connor; loving mother of Gina Marie Gorey & Therese Ann Pintozzi (John) Budziak; proud grandmother of Christopher Gorey, Kyle (Grace) Gorey, Kevin Gorey (partner Joao Queiroga), & Claire Gorey; great-grandmother of Della & Donovan Gorey; dear sister of the late Cecil (the late Bonnie) Bondurant & the late H.C. Bondurant; fond step-sister of Dorothy (Maurice) McMullen.
Joan had a long career as Chief Computer Cartographer and Supervisor of Maps and Plats for the City of Chicago. Joan was an avid bowler, loved traveling, going to the casino, and spending time with her family.
A visitation will be held on April 3, 2024 from 9am until 12pm with a funeral service to follow at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. A procession to Queen of Heaven Cemetery will follow with a prayer service at the chapel of Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
