Shirley I. Baryl, 89, of Indian Head Park, IL was called to her heavenly home on May 11, 2024. Shirley Baryl, daughter of the late Joseph W. and late Bernice Baryl, passed away peacefully at the Tabor Hills Healthcare Facility in Naperville, IL from natural causes.

She is survived by her brother, Thomas J. Baryl (Gail); nephews, Edward J. Kutay, Jr. (Janet), Gary Kutay, Thomas R. Baryl & Todd Baryl; and nieces, Karen Sissons and Jennifer Baryl. Shirley also had 12 great nieces & nephews and 5 great-great nieces & nephew. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sally Kutay (Dr. Edward J.) and nephew, Kevin Kutay (Judy Egeland).

Shirley had a successful career as an Executive Assistant for various major corporations in the Chicago area. She was a long-time resident of the Wilshire Green condominium complex in Indian Head Park. She served on the condominium board for a number of years. She enjoyed travelling with friends and family.

Shirley was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church on 5005 Wolf Rd., Western Springs, IL. A time for a memorial visitation will be held at St. John of the Cross on Thursday, May 23rd from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment private.
