Catherine Mary Steffan (nee Gozadinos), age 95, of Naperville, formerly of Naples, FL and Countryside, IL. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Michael Steffan. Loving mother of the late Thomas (Shari) and Nickolos R. (Linda M.) Steffan. Devoted step-grandmother of 3. Fond aunt and friend of many. Preceded in death by her parents, Nickolos and Nellie Gozadinos.
Catherine will be remembered for her love of gardening.
A memorial visitation will be held 3 to 8pm Thursday, June 6th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Interment private.

To love a person is to see all of their magic. You’re mom was a remarkable woman who deeply touched both of our lives…she was a second mom to John and genuinely welcomed me with open arms. Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day unseen, unheard, but always near. Time takes away the edge of grief, but memories turn every leaf.
