Usually in early June the sun shines bright as the world fully awakens to a season of Nature’s new life. For the family and friends of Priscilla Kielmar-Beranek, their world became a bit dimmer Thursday, June 6th with her unexpected passing.

For those who knew Priscilla, her life could be defined by one word: Love. Priscilla’s love for her family was incomparable, and all would agree she was happiest when surrounded by the family and friends she held dearest to her heart.

Adrienne, her daughter, Paul her son and her grandchildren Matthew and Mia were her entire world. Her children gave her strength during the rough times and laughter and joy all of the time. She was so proud of her grandchildren and, her family and friends will hold dear the stories they will be privileged to tell of their funny, loving grandmother.

Priscilla was from LaGrange Highlands. She was the Beloved wife of Anthony Beranek for 36 years; loving mother of Adrienne (Scott) Hamlin and Paul Dobry; dear grandmother of Matthew and Mia Dobry; preceded in death by loving parents, Stanley and Frances Kielmar.

Visitation hours will be from 9 am 12 pm, followed by a funeral service, on Tuesday, June 11th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice.
