Ellen Benrus, age 100, of LaGrange, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2024. Beloved wife of the late George; loving mother of George P. (Johanna), Thomas P. and the late Timothy J.; devoted sister of the late Grace Novak and the late Dolores Marcin; dear aunt and friend of many.
Visitation 8:30am until time of chapel prayers, 9:30am on Monday, August 26th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Procession to follow for a 10am Funeral Mass at St. Cletus Parish, Lagrange. Burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.

So very sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. She made it to 100, just like my dad. I and my brothers have many fond memories of both your mom and dad. I will keep all of you in my prayers. I will miss her.
