Mark Wojcik, age 66, went home to Jesus on August 29, 2024.  Beloved husband of Laura, nee Anderson.  Wonderful father to Sabrina, John, Andy, Mary, Mike and Elizabeth. Loving grandfather to Angelina. Dear brother to Bill (Annemarie), Marlene, David Wojcik and Janice (Dave) Rekstad. Fond uncle to Joe, Amanda, Jeff, Nicole, Russ and Matthew. Fond cousin to Tom (Diane) Sikorski. Mark was a plumber serving the western suburbs for many years and ran his own successful company for the last 10 years. He enjoyed coaching baseball games when his children were young, and taking the family on vacations in the U.P. to boat, hike, and enjoy time with family and mother-in-law Pat. He was a parishioner at Holy Trinity Catholic Church and liked to attend Saturday evening Mass with his wife, where he often was a lector. He and his wife enjoyed going out to dinner together after Mass for their “date” night. He was a U.S Navy veteran where he was stationed at Whidbey Island. He enjoyed engaging discussions with his childhood friend Duane and playing guitar with his friend Tom. He had many cherished friends. He was proceeded in death by his parents William and Evelyn and brother Paul Wojcik.  Visitation 3-9 p.m. Thursday at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75^th St., Downers Grove.  Prayers 9:15 a.m. Friday from the funeral home to Holy Trinity Church for Mass at 10 a.m.  Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mark’s memory to Holy Trinity Catholic Church-Westmont, Illinois Right-to-Life or the Wounded Warriors Project.  Funeral home phone 630-964-6500
