  1. My heartfelt prayers go out to the family.

I met Chris in the summer of 1967, and we became instant friends and “chosen” sisters. We could always pick up exactly where we left off, no matter how long it had been. She liked to remind me that she was 11 (count them, 11) days younger than me, and she had a wicked sense of humor! How we ended up in the Dean’s office our first day of high school is just one of many stories to tell.

Chris, I will always remember the laughter, love and tears that we shared. After 57 years of friendship, you will always be my BFF. My heart will miss your bright and beautiful spirit forever. 💞💔

  2. I’m still trying to wrap my head around the fact that Chris is no longer with us. Tony, I can only imagine the depth of your loss.

Chris & I go way back (mid 70’s?) to her days at the Bank of Yorktown when I worked at BOY’s data processor. Ultimately, we were both employed by Electronic Data Systems (EDS); we worked on the same team that did the data mapping to convert newly acquired banks on to the core processor. Chris was the General Ledger guru of the team. She could slice & dice a Statement of Condition like no other which often involved countless hours to reconcile out-of-balance accounts.

My favorite memory of Chris was when she filled in as a flight attendant on a puddle jumper flight we took to get home from a new bank conversion in Youngstown Ohio. She had our whole team in stitches with laughter!

Chris was the epitome of “good people” & a life well-lived. I will miss our gab sessions as well as her thoughtful greeting cards as she was simply the best at remembering birthdays, anniversaries & special occasions!

My heartfelt sympathy to Tony and Chris’ entire family at this very sad time of immeasurable loss.

  3. I am saddened to hear that Chris is gone. My heartfelt sympathy to her family. I worked with Chris at Electronic Data systems. She was the best when it came to bank conversions- a true professional but could really make me laugh! I know she will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

  4. My heart was so sad to hear that Chris had passed. She was such a wonderful person and kind and caring friend. She always remembered your birthday, holiday and every other occasion with personalized cards no less!
She was the queen of the general ledger at EDS also., and such a bright and witty person to be around. We always had a great time together.
She will always be in my heart, and I know Tony she will always be in yours..take Care.
