Shirley Roberto (nee Wheeler), age 77, of Countryside, passed away on November 20, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Roberto. Loving mother of Thomas, Robert, and Steven. Dear grandmother of Steve Jr., Billy, Robert, Tabitha, Tyler, Keith, and Kari. Cherished great-grandmother of Helene, Lucy, Logan, Tanner, Faith, Teagan, Aria, Remington, Emmery, Bentley Carter, Colton Ford, and David Fredrick III. Fond aunt of Barbara and Jenny and great-aunt of Elaine, Jessica, Nicole, and Jason. Predeceased by her siblings Judy, Barbara Jean, and Roy.

Shirley was a homemaker who loved to travel. Her favorite team was the Chicago Blackhawks. She was an avid reader. Most of her life she would read one book a week.

Visitation 10am to 12pm, Monday November 25, 2024, at Hallowell & James, 1025 W. 55^th St., Countryside. Service follows immediately at 12pm.
