I was heartbroken to hear about Theresa’s passing. I have so many wonderful memories of her from the first twelve years of my life being neighbors. Growing up in Cicero, she and her family were such a big part of my childhood. Their house was like a second home to me, with the best snacks, video games, parties, and of course, Rocky. Theresa was always so warm and full of life — whether she was tanning in the summer, laughing, singing, or dancing, she made everything feel more joyful. But even while having fun, she was such a caring and present mom and worked hard at her family’s business.
I’m incredibly grateful to have had her as a neighbor and for all the kindness she showed me. Her spirit and love made a lasting impression on my life, and I know my parents feel the same way. I’m so sorry for your loss, and I’m keeping your family in my thoughts.
I worked with her briefly. She was a sweet woman. Very warm and friendly. My condolences.
