  3. We all loved Jim Wilson at The Big Sand Lake Club and looked forward to his family visit each summer. At first it was just his immediate family, then his dating teen children, then twenty-something newlywed kids…then the grands began to arrive! Jim loved it all!
Jim was the perfect role model of being a grandpa! From loading marshmallows onto a long stick fireside to capturing the imaginations of all who gathered around to hear his campfire stories!
I know that many generations of Wilsons will continue to visit the BSLClub annually, where Liz and Jim Wilson left a lasting legacy of loving time spent with family and friends! ❤️

  4. Jim will be missed by many, especially at Big Sand Lake Club, where we met him many years ago on our first visit, and he graciously agreed to sponsor us for membership. There was lots of fun with the Wilson family that week, and there are many memories of summers since then. Indeed, it’s hard to think of Jim without thinking of his family, since we always saw you all together, and he and you exemplified together what loving family life is. To all of you, we offer thoughts of condolence in the coming days, and hope that you will be comforted and strengthened by the example of Jim’s long and happy life.

  5. Those we love can never be more than a thought away; for as long as there’s a memory, they live on in our hearts.

Our condolences go out to the Wilson Family for their loss. It was a pleasure to get to know Jim the past 4 years.
    May he rest in peace.

  6. Heartfelt condolences to the entire Wilson family. There are so many wonderful memories of Jim and Liz at the Club. I first met them on our first trip to BSLC in 1980. On that trip we saw, through their presence, what a family place our dear Big Sand is. I will always remember his wonderful smile. May loving memories sustain you now and always.
    With love,
    Holly O’Connell
