James F. Novak, Jr., R.Ph

August 29, 1941 – February 5, 2025

Son of the late Genevieve (Beres) Novak and the late James F. Novak, Sr.. Father of Loreen (late James) Vonrhein and James D. (Patti) Novak. Proud and loving Grandfather of Nathan and Nicole Novak. Brother of the late Richard (Dorothy) Novak and the late Arlene Novak. Loving partner and best friend of Joan Dolan. Jim was respected and loved by the Dolan, Hincks and O’Toole families.

Born and raised in Chicago, IL Jim attended St. Turibius grammar school and St. Rita high school. He attended the University of Illinois at Chicago – School of Pharmacy where he earned his license as a registered pharmacist. Jim was the long time owner of Beverly Manor Pharmacy in Burbank, IL. He later established Aller-Caire Allergy Store in Lisle, IL with his son, James D. Novak. He was on several bowling leagues and played weekly racquetball games.

Jim loved animals, the outdoors and was an environmentalist. He loved walking and hiking in the woods. Jim enjoyed playing tennis with his friend and tennis partner Rich Rons.

Upon retirement he renewed his love of fishing and spent many happy hours fishing in the pond and creek near his home. Jim was a kind and loyal friend to all.
