Margaret A. Striska, age 83, of Woodridge. Loving mother of Joseph (late Mary) Striska, Terrilynn (Lawrence) Bethune and the late Daniel Striska. Devoted grandmother of the late Joseph Striska, James (Kari) Striska, Jeffrey (Robyn) Bethune and Stacey (Greg) Zywica. Adoring great-grandmother of James, Madelyn, Benjamin, Mason, Anna and the late Alana. Proud aunt to many. Margaret was preceded in death by her siblings Rosemarie, Lorraine, Anthony and Patricia. Dear Marge Family
Because of Marge this year I will celebrate 38 years of sobriety. She gifted me with love and tenderness. We would meet often and eat out. She insisted on having a wee treat after meals. She had truly embraced being recovered and knowing balance. Her ability to work and be a single mom yet be available to me and others was a God-thing. Today 4/19/25 I would’ve called her to remember her grandson Joseph bday -and it is because of her that I get to delight others by honoring who THEY honor. I loved Marge fiercely!
