Augustine “Gus” Michael Nolan, age 97, of Palos Park (previously Countryside), native of Glenidan, Collinstown, County Westmeath, Ireland, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2025. Beloved husband for 65 years of Jeannine (nee Smith); loving father of Michael (Bonnie), Mary (Roy) Nolan-Fesmire, John (Jamie), Annemarie (Joseph) O’Neill; cherished grandfather of Bessie (Matt) Statman, Kyle (Dale) Fesmire, Benjamin Nolan, C.J. O’Neill, Kitty Fesmire, Jack Nolan, Meaghan O’Neill (Jared Paine), Kristin Fesmire, Erin Fesmire, Sean Nolan, and Connor Nolan; fond uncle of Marie Haddigan, Matty Nolan, and Jed Davies. Preceded in death by his loving parents, Matthew and Mary Kate Nolan, and siblings, Bennie, Matt, & Jack Nolan & May Davies.
A 10am Funeral Mass will be held of February 27th, 2025 at St. Cletus Parish, LaGrange. Burial to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
