Carol Ann Klabough Jackson

Carol Ann Klabough Jackson

Age 88, born July 15, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois, to Frank Klabough and Mae Hodgson. Beloved wife of the late John Richard “Dick” Jackson for 65 years. Devoted mother of Linda (John) Wheaton, Kevin (Leona), Timothy (Jill), Amy (Bob) Kintner, Michael (Julie), and Thomas (Carrie). Loving grandmother of 14 and cherished great-grandmother of 2. Dear sister of the late Janet (Jack) Tobin, the late Francis (Barb) Klabough, and Edward Klabough.

Carol was a graduate of Aquinas High School on the South Side of Chicago. She devoted her life to family and service, balancing roles as a loving mother, dedicated Nurse at Oak Forest Hospital in Illinois, and the matriarch of a large and close-knit family.

Throughout her life, Carol embodied grace, wisdom, generosity, and an unwavering ability to make each person she met feel like the most important one in the room. She and Dick traveled the world together, embracing adventure and lifelong learning. She had a passion for connection, inclusivity, and creating a sense of unity among all who knew her.

Carol spent her later years in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family—just as she had always wished. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and deep compassion that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
