Bob Ciszewski, of La Grange, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the age of 74 surrounded by his family after a long-fought battle with cancer. Loving husband of Patricia Ciszewski (née Moore) for a wonderful 30 years. Beloved father of Mitchell (Alison) Ciszewski and adoring grandpa of Eleanora. Dear brother of Colette (late Tony Ajster), JoAnn (Lou Klozik), and John Ciszewski and loving uncle to Stephen Klozik. He was reunited in death with his parents Mitchell and Loretta Ciszewski, and brothers James and Joseph Ciszewski.

Bob was a faithful civil servant devoting a 30 year career to the Government Accountability Office. He had a passion for reading and avidly followed rugby. He was a gentle giant and upstanding man who is greatly missed by all who know him.

Visitation 4 to 8pm Tuesday, April 29th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Chapel prayers 9:15am Wednesday, April 30th at the funeral home, processing to 10am Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church, La Grange. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Park Lawn .
