Shirley A. Funk, of Countryside; loving and devoted mother of Robert, Cody, & Randy Funk; dear sister of Thomas, Patricia, Theresa, Gloria, & Carl, and pre-deceased by sister Dorothy; loving daughter of Bernard & Marilyn Barc; aunt, niece, & cousin of many. She will be dearly missed.
Shirley was a beloved teacher and hockey mom. She loved maintaining the beauty of her home and garden, and she especially loved her boys.
Visitation 3 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Family & friends will meet at St. Cletus Church, 600 W. 55th St., LaGrange on Wednesday, March 4 for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
